The NASA study on the Methane Cloud over the Four Corners Area is Out. This workshop will help you understand what the Scientists Found. We’ll provide the latest on the policy to capture Methane and what the new Trump Administration might mean for the Climate. And we’ll give you a chance to speak out.

Jon Goldstein, who helps lead Environmental Defense Fund’s efforts to improve regulation of the oil and gas industry and protect precious air and water resources in the Rocky Mountain region. Prior to joining EDF, Jon served as Cabinet Secretary of the New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department and Deputy Secretary of the state’s Environment Department where he both strengthened regulation of the oil and gas industry and promoted the deployment of renewable sources of energy. He served on the New Mexico Renewable Energy Transmission Authority, Finance Authority and Water Trust Board and was elected chair of the New Mexico Water Quality Control Commission and Mining Commission. He was also appointed by Governor Bill Richardson as New Mexico’s state liaison with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Rock Ulibarri is the San Miguel County Commissioner for District 1 and former educator. He spent many years as a middle school teacher and continues to use his expertise to teach youth leadership at the community college for at risk youth, teach grassroots organizing and nonviolent resistance at United Well college, and guide students into the backcountry to teach Leave No Trace wilderness practices.
